What the report tells you, and what to verify
- Every result is labeled by how it was obtained: a MEASURED stamp with the LiDAR survey source and flight year, or an ESTIMATE stamp when it came from a building footprint and an assumed pitch. It never presents an estimate as a measurement.
- Footprint-only results are plan-view estimates from public building data (Microsoft Building Footprints, ODbL, with FEMA/ORNL USA Structures, CC BY 4.0, as fallback); LiDAR results carry their survey source and flight year, with a plain warning when the roof may have changed since the flight.
- Every output says to verify on site before ordering material. A takeoff report is an estimating aid, not a substitute for a final field check on a Florida roof.
