Team messages

Crew talk, beside the job it is about.

Crew coordination usually happens on personal phones, where nobody else can find it and the job it refers to is somewhere else entirely. This keeps the conversation in the same place as the work.

Internal crew messaging only. Nothing here reaches a customer, and a message is delivered inside FL Permit Pay rather than to a phone or an inbox.

    How the work moves

Reading and replying, without leaving the work.

The messenger opens over whatever page you are on, so answering a crew question never costs you the record you had open.

    1. Step 1

      Open it from anywhere

The Team button sits in the dashboard header on every page, and the command palette has an entry for it.

    2. Step 2

      See what is waiting

The launcher carries a count of your unread conversations, and each unread one gets its own row in the notification bell rather than being collapsed into a total.

    3. Step 3

      Read the thread

A conversation opens on its most recent hundred messages, newest at the bottom, each one showing who wrote it and when.

    4. Step 4

      Reply, and clear it

Your reply posts to the same thread. Marking a conversation read moves your own read position; it tells no one else anything.

    Next step

Put the crew conversation where the job already is.

One place for the thread, the job it is about, and the unread count that says who is waiting on you.

Which conversations you can see depends on which ones you are in, and what a teammate can see depends on their own access.
