What the desk actually does.

It does not chase anybody and it does not move money. It is the place where the money facts stop being spread across four screens.

One thing to do next
The band under the heading names the next move in plain words, and its button opens exactly what it names. When there is nothing owed and nothing to fix, it says so rather than inventing work.
Step 2
Where card payments land
Available, pending and disputes are read from your own Stripe payout account. Until you connect one, Available says there is no payout account and the other two say they are not set up, because no card payment can land, clear, or be disputed without it. FL Permit Pay never holds the funds.
Step 3
Refunds are behind two-step
Anyone with money access can read the desk. Issuing a refund, applying a discount, or changing where payouts go stays locked until that person turns on two-step verification on their own account.
Step 4
Every reason is recorded
A refund names the reason somebody chose from the list, and so does a discount. Neither is a free-text note nobody can report on later.
Step 5
It says where everything else lives
Schedules of values, change orders, recording a check, job costing and the financing switch all live on the job. Approvals live on Commissions, hours live in Payroll, and a signed proposal's deposit lives on the proposal. The desk names each one and links to it instead of pretending to hold it.
