FL Permit Pay

Track a permit

Create the company permit record, keep status and inspection dates current, and verify source guidance when it is available.

Open a permit in FL Permit PayPermit Hub plan access

One ledger that says, for every open permit, which authority holds it, what state it is in, what proof is attached and what the next thing you owe is, rather than a memory and a folder of emails.

Before you start

  • County or permitting authority

Know the authority responsible for the job location.

  • The current permit status

Use the status your team has confirmed for its own record.

  • Application and inspection dates

Have the dates your team will maintain and verify.

Follow the task on screen.

The FL Permit Pay Permits workspace, showing the permit review clock, a do-next card and the Permit ledger, with the County mail, Lookup, Emergency tolling and Add permit controls in the header.
  1. Step 1. Add permitOpens the add-permit form. This is the control that creates a permit record; there is no New permit button.

  3. Step 3. Open permitOpens the individual permit, where status, dates and inspections are recorded.

Open permit takes you into the individual permit. Status changes, dates and inspection results are recorded there, on the record. There is no workspace-level inspection button.

You know it worked when The permit record shows the status, review clock and inspection details your team entered.

  3. 3Not on this screen

Watch what the authority sends back

County mail is where correspondence from the permitting authority is collected against your permits.

You know it worked when Correspondence appears against the permit it belongs to.

  4. 4Marker 2 on the screenshot

Check the authority's requirements before you file

Lookup opens the county requirement check for a chosen authority and job type.

You know it worked when The check returns what FL Permit Pay has on file for that authority, with its source shown.

You are finished when

The permit record is visible with its next known action

The permit appears in the ledger with the authority, status, dates and proof your team entered, and its next action is stated on the row.

What still needs your review

  • Permit records are company maintainedFL Permit Pay does not file with or automatically synchronize a county. Confirm the official record with the permitting authority.
  • Pre-checks and review clocks are planning aidsEstimate from the applied date — confirm with the building department. Deadline tracking, not legal advice.
  • Inspections live on the permit, not the workspaceInspection results are recorded inside an individual permit record. There is no workspace-level control for logging one.
