Manage job documents

Upload a private file, connect it to the right job, and find it again by folder, category, or tag.

The signed contract, the owner authorization, the insurance certificate and the field proof all filed where the next person can find them, rather than in one estimator's phone.

Before you start

  • A PDF or image

Use a supported file that is no larger than the limit shown in the upload area.

  • The related job

Choose the job folder when the file belongs to specific work.

  • Category and tags

Use details your team will recognize when searching later.

Follow the task on screen.

    Open the upload area

Select Upload document in the Evidence library header. The control is Upload document, not Upload.

You know it worked when The file, category, related-job and tag fields appear.

  2. 2Not on this screen

File it where the next person will look

In the Upload document panel, pick the category that matches the file (Job proof, Company record, Owner/HOA authorization, Insurance / bond, Signed contract / scope) and attach the related job when it belongs to specific work.

You know it worked when The document appears under the category and job you chose.

  3. 3Marker 3 on the screenshot

Narrow the library to find it again

The folder list on the left filters the library. All documents shows everything; the categories below it, starting with Job proof, narrow to one kind of evidence.

You know it worked when The file grid shows only the documents in the folder you selected.

  4. 4Marker 2 on the screenshot

Add a folder of your own

Manage folders opens the folder controls, where you can create a folder your team names itself.

You know it worked when The new folder appears in the folder list and can be selected like any category.

You are finished when

The private file appears in the intended folder

The document shows its saved name, category, related job and size, and opens from its details view.
